Email security errors

Some of the email service providers we use will require the settings to be updated on your device due to recent security updates on some devices. 

If you are getting a security error when your email application opens then please try updating your settings to use the following (we recommend taking a backup or note of your existing settings in case these do not resolve your problem).

User Name: your email address.

Password: your password for this email account.

Incoming email settings:
Protocol: IMAP
Email address: Your full email address
Username: Your full email address
Password: Your mailbox password
IMAP server: xxx.extendcp.co.uk (replace xxx with your specific mail server alias. If you are not sure what this is please request this via a support ticket.)
Security Type: STARTTLS
Port: 993

Outgoing email settings:
Login Required: Yes
Username: Full email address
Password: Your mailbox password
SMTP Server: xxx.extendcp.co.uk (replace xxx with your specific mail server alias. If you are not sure what this is please request this via a support ticket.)
Security type: SSL
Port: 587

You should set the "Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): On" and you should use Password for Authentication method.
